French Immersion at SECPSD
French Immersion programming is offered for Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 in both Weyburn (Assiniboia Park) and Estevan (Pleasantdale) for the 2021-2022 school year. Each year a grade level will be added to the program with the ultimate goal of graduating with a bilingual diploma. French Immersion allows students the opportunity to learn French as a 2nd language. Students who are in the French Immersion track become proficient in English while also developing a strong foundation in French. Free bussing is provided to Assiniboia Park and Pleasantdale within the communities of Weyburn and Estevan and the surrounding areas.
