Mental Health Matters

A message from South East Region Mobilization Hub Steering Committee

We are deeply saddened by recent tragic deaths which have affected individuals, families and communities across the southeast. In difficult times such as these, the strength of our unity, compassion and understanding is crucial to support each other. We encourage anyone struggling with grief, loss, or mental health to reach out to friends, family, neighbours and support services – know that you are not alone.

Let’s take this time to raise awareness about mental health and the importance of seeking help when needed. Open dialogue in our homes, workspaces, schools and gathering places encourages hope and help for those who need it the most, reducing stigma and perhaps even preventing future tragedies in our communities.

Remember it’s okay to not be okay. Together, we can ensure that every member of our community feels valued, supported and safe to ask for help when they need it.
